Sunshine on My Shoulders
“Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy…” - John Denver
Warm sunlight makes any day a bit brighter, and this clever shawl does the same! Happy colors come together with easy combinations of bound-off and cast-on stitches to create lacy circles of light for the sun to shine through. While the shaping is unique, the basic stitches are quite simple, and I’ve linked video tutorials to guide you along the way. Frequent color changes will have your needles dancing across the yarn like sunlight on the waves, eagerly working toward the next color. The final accessory will brighten any outfit and keep you warm, even during the darkest days.
